What happened between Matthew McConaughey and Novak Djokovic?
Matthew McConaughey is an American actor and Oscar-winning actor who was spotted celebrating Novak Djokovic’s win at the Grand Slam. He was seated in the stands behind Djokovic’s family, along with his wife, Camila Alves.
After Novak won the match, Matthew was seen clapping and cheering for him after he passed through the crowd, cheering and high-fiving people. It was seen that McConaughey was celebrating the hew as related to the Serbian tennis star. Djokovic stopped, and the two celebrated his win by hugging each other.
Djokovic went on to celebrate his victory with his family members: his parents, his wife Jelena Djokovic, and their two children, Stefan and Tara. The stadium was packed with Hollywood stars such as model and former actor Emily Ratajkowski and businesswoman Martha Stewart.
The stadium was comprised of five-time Oscar winner Nicole Kidman along with Leonardo Di Caprio. Justin Timberlake, Jon Hamm, and Jerry Seinfeld were also present at the match. Djokovic also paid tribute to the legendary basketball player Kobe Bryant, who passed away at the age of 41.
He paid tribute by wearing a shirt of Kobe and explaining how he was a good friend of his. He wanted to acknowledge Kobe’s contribution and reflect on the memories of the two together. In a speech, he stated that he was coming back for more and that he would retire in 23–24 years.
