Want to get your hands on the new Wicked Implement Exotic Scout Rifle? Then you need to complete the Destiny 2 Deep Dive Exotic Quest!

The Destiny 2 Deep Dive Exotic Quest begins when you receive a message from Ahsa, a Techeun on the moon. The message will tell you to investigate a disturbance in the Methane Sea. To start the quest, you must first travel to the moon and find Ahsa’s location. She can be found in the Sorrow’s Harbor area, near the K1 Revelation Lost Sector entrance.

Once you have found Ahsa, speak to her, and she will give you the quest item, “Ahsa’s Gift.” This item will allow you to access the Deep Dive activity. The Deep Dive activity is a new 6-player matchmade activity in the Methane Sea of Titan. To complete the activity, you must progress through three encounters: Twilight, 1000 Meters in the Methane Sea, and The Deep. But before you start the quest you should be prepared with the best weapons available in Destiny 2.

How to Complete Destiny 2 Deep Dive Exotic Quest

Here are the steps on how to progress through the three encounters in the Destiny 2 Deep Dive Exotic Quest:

Twilight

  • The Twilight Encounter is relatively short. You will need to defeat a series of Hive enemies to progress.
  • The enemies in this encounter will mostly be Thralls and Acolytes, with a few Knights and Wizards thrown in.
  • The best way to defeat these enemies is to combine close-range and long-range weapons.
  • Once you have defeated all enemies, you will progress to the next encounter.

1000 Meters in the Methane Sea

  • The 1000 Meters in the Methane Sea encounter is a bit more challenging. You must navigate a series of platforms and defeat several Hive enemies to reach the end of the encounter.
  • The platforms in this encounter are slippery, so be careful not to fall off.
  • The enemies in this encounter will be tougher than the ones in the Twilight encounter. You will need to use your best weapons and abilities to defeat them.
  • Once you have reached the end of the platforms, you will encounter a group of Hive enemies. Defeat these enemies to progress to the next encounter.

  • The best way to defeat Ahsa is to use the “Deathly Sharp” buff you receive from interacting with the two Hive statues in the Deep Dive activity.
  • The “Deathly Sharp” buff will increase your damage output against Hive enemies, making it easier to defeat Ahsa.
  • Once you have defeated Ahsa, you will be rewarded with the Wicked Implement exotic scout rifle.
