If you are also looking for more details about the Gotham Knights Heroic Assault, then you have stopped at the right place.

The action role-playing game Gotham Knights takes place in Gotham City in an open-world environment. Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood are the four characters that can be played in the game. Players can level up their characters, but enemies will also be leveled up automatically. Robin can teleport through the satellite of the Justice League. Each character has their own unique playstyle and abilities.

The Batcycle can also be used by the players to explore the city. As the players take part in the daytime, they will occupy the Belfry, which is the team’s base of operations. This will allow them to switch characters and prepare for the next missions by managing progression, and as soon as they leave the Belfry, the game moves into the evening.

There will be an upcoming gameplay mode called Gotham Knights Heroic Assault that is independent of the main story campaign. It features a dedicated arena-like environment, with objectives to complete on every floor and enemies to defeat. The standalone mode supports up to four players in online co-op. There will be a total of 30 floors for the players. Read this article till the end to know when the Gotham Knights Heroic Assault will release and what more details are there about it.

Gotham Knights Heroic Assault Release Date

A free add-on, Heroic Assault, will be available to all owners of Gotham Knights on November 29, 2022. The last multiplayer experience available to Batman fans was notably in Arkham Origin’s Invisible Predator Online and Hunter, Hunted modes.

What platforms will it be on?

At present, it remains attached to the main game rather than be a standalone title. There will be a multiplayer mode for Gotham Knights on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.

Co-op Mode

As part of the new Heroic Assault multiplayer mode, Gotham Knights players can play co-op games with up to four players. Unlike Marvel’s Avengers gauntlet missions, this mode is a standalone one that can be played alongside friends or random players. As with Marvel’s Avengers gauntlets, we can expect to face extremely tough foes.

Gotham Knights Heroic Assault can only be played online, as it will be with two-player co-op in the campaign. Gotham Knights’ modes do not allow local co-op, and there is no indication that this will change in the future. In addition, there is no clarity about whether the four players must each choose a character, or if they can all play the same character.
