Your Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s next stop is here as the journey continues! Here is how to take on the Medali Gym leader Larry in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
A small town in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet known as Medali and its Gym Leader Larry is the last badge to collect before you face the Elite Four. Medali is home to an average gym leader named Larry. This gym will be found in a small restaurant town and will be your fifth gym when you rank it from the weakest-strongest gym.
Medali Gym Location
You can reach the town either by traveling from Levincia to the mining town of Zapapico in the west through East Province (Area Three), then heading northwest towards Dalizapa Passage, and if it starts snowing you know you are at the right place. The second way is through reaching West Province by way of Porto Marinada and the Asado Desert (from Cascarrafa) (Area Two)
Medali Gym Challenge
Medali gym challenge requires you to find out what is the secret menu item on the restaurant’s menu. The restaurant’s name is Treasure Eatery. It is obvious that you will find hints of the battle in the food items given the fact that you have entered a food town.
You can guess several times but there will be other trainers in the room who will be taking the test and might as well give you hints about what the secret dish is.
Adara
For one of the hints, you will have to fight Adara a child near the restaurant.

She will ask you to look for the odd one out at an ice cream stand. This stand also has grilled rice balls for sale with lemons on top.
Gisela
The second trainer you will encounter is present on the outskirts of the town, Gisela. She too will give hints to beat her.

She will tell you to look for a dark spot surrounded by stairs. She would be standing near the half-door which has a dark area gated off. If you interact with this sign it would say Fire Blast.
Santiago
The third trainer will be present by the restaurants known as Santiago who will challenge you to battle for receiving yet another clue. His party is stated below.

He will ask you to listen to the” Blue bird Pokémon – Talkabilly near the pilot’s head nearby. The Pokémon will say medium.
Now finally enter the restaurant and repeated the steps to the waiter to start a battle with Larry. Treasury Eatery is on the east of the town, next to the Pokémon Center. Go inside and talk to the Office Worker at the bar. He tells you what seasoning to ask for the secret item. Make sure to order what the officer tells you and select the following items.

Normal-type Pokémon don’t have many weaknesses and they are vulnerable to fighting-type moves. His pocket pick, Staraptor could be annoying because the flying-type attacks it is familiar with would counter your fighting-type Pokémon. So if you are fighting against him make sure to avoid grass- or fighting types against regular kinds since there are no other counters for them.
