But first let’s look upon the individual brilliance for CJ Stroud, just so that everyone is on the same page. Starting off with his stats in 2021, Stroud’s initial year as the starter with Buckeyes, this Quarterback led Ohio State to a Rose Bowl victory. With the stakes being every so high, this power packed QB was simply ‘the most iconic sensation’ in the spoken off contest.

CJ Stroud threw for 576 passing yards, even had 6 TouchDowns. What’s more impressive? Being so young, he had the calm and composure to be accurate with the ball, resulting in just one interception. To simplify, in the entire 2021 season, Stroud was dominant. On the way to an 11-2 finish, CJ Stroud proved to be one of the best passers in the entire United States, not many would even argue upon it. He finished the season throwing for 4,435 passing yards, 44 TouchDowns, and just 6 interceptions. Believe it or not, these are not the stats of Jalen Hurts, but Stroud. So, you surely need to catch an eye upon it.

How did CJ Stroud perform in 2022?

Generally, when an individual performs at such high and efficient rate, expectations with his are beyond the seventh sky. More often than not, QBs are not able to fulfil it, but that wasn’t the case with CJ Stroud. In just the initial 6 games with the Ohio State Buckeyes, Stroud seemed to have gained more maturity as the lead player. To be price, he has thrown for 1,737 passing yards, 24 TouchDowns, and just three interceptions. And he is doing this with an offense that is missing a key piece in wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba
