Buffalo Bills are 6-2 after their first 9 weeks of footballing drama, in the AFC East title race. Major chunk of credit goes to Quarterback Josh Allen, who is not only producing his best numbers but is one of the prime candidates for the MVP accolade. To those who are unaware – both New York Jets and Miami Dolphins are 6-3, one loss more than the Bills.

Now as the Bills lock horns again the Minnesota Vikings, who have a better record than them (7-1) in Week 10, there are looking concerns of Josh Allen not suiting up for the former team. Allen has been listed questionable for Sunday’s game amid his recovery from an elbow injury.

He missed practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday before returning for a limited practice session on Friday. If Josh Allen is ruled out for this mega contest, backup QB Case Keenum would be replacing him. The latter went 2-0 in two starts for the Cleveland Browns in 2021.

ESPN reported on Monday that the 26-year-old franchise cornerstone was being evaluated for an injury to his ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) and related nerves around his elbow. The incident involving Allen occurred during the team’s final drive of the last game when he was hit by Bryce Huff.

This injury to Josh Allen’s elbow will be considered serious by the Buffalo Bills as the same injury ruled him out for four games in his rookie season in 2018. However, since he has returned from the above-mentioned injury, Allen managed to start in 69 consecutive games.

The 26-year-old QB also leads the Bills with 392 rushing yards and four rushing TouchDowns.
