Los Angeles Rams’ Quarterback – Matthew Stafford has always had struggles with injuries. While some injury-demons have side-lined him, the other have proven to be off slight hindrance. But the 34-year-old was able to overcome all obstacles to lead his new side to Super Bowl triumph in the last season.

However, since the beginning of 2022-23 seasons, Matthew Stafford has been nothing but mediocre for the LA Rams. Having only concentrated on Cooper Kupp, it is safe to say that Stafford has neglected, hasn’t been at his best to find other teammates.

This has resulted in NFL Analyst – Dan Graziano calling him out ahead of Week 4 showdown on Monday against the San Francisco 49ers. If the Rams are to defend their title, it has to start with Stafford making big plays and spreading the play to more and more teammates. However, that hasn’t been the case.

Dan Graziano points out the flaws in Matthew Stafford

Dan Graziano quoted on ESPN’s Get Up, “I don’t think Matthew Stafford is the kind of quarterback that elevates the group around him. The situation around him is not good, they (LA Rams) are thin, they have been thin for years. Whenever you talk to people about the Rams – couple of guys get injured and they are in trouble. The offense line looks like a mess. That’s why he’s like 1,2,3 throw – where’s Cooper Kupp and that’s it.”

That being said, Matthew Stafford’s first year wearing the iconic white-blue colorway saw him hit career-high in completions percentage with 67 and TouchDowns (41). Moreover, he ended the year as the 5th overall Quarterback, averaging 20.4 PPR/Game. Unfortunately, his problem has always been with turnovers and giving the ball away cheaply, and this time around it seems to be costing the team more than ever.

If the Rams want to improve their claim in the NFC West, especially after the 24-9 beating they have suffered against the Niners (latest), Matthew Stafford needs to fill up his voids sooner rather later.
