After suffering 3 consecutive losses in the 2022-23 NFL Season, the Pittsburgh Steelers have slipped to the 4th rank in AFC North and if you trust Ryan Clark, it is just the beginning of their possible worst-ever season.

After registering a win in their season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Steelers looked destined to make a mark in the season. However, ever since game 2, their performance graph has only deteriorated. In the hopes of changing their fortune, Pittsburgh Steelers replaced Mitch Trubisky with first-round pick Kenny Pickett, the opposition proved to be just too good for them.

While the offense line has just been abysmal, their defense hasn’t done wonders and in the showdown against the Jets, they had no idea on how to counter attack the opposition. This has perhaps been the story of Pittsburgh Steelers so far in the 20222-23 season.

Ryan Clark predicts dark future for Pittsburgh Steelers

Ryan Clark said on the latest episode of Get Up, “It was time to make the chance. You could see that with Mitch Trubisky they couldn’t win games. The Pittsburgh Steelers isn’t playing for the future. They don’t re-build, every year they fill the team. It’s about trying to win the sticky-lamberty. This team can’t do that with Trubisky and this team also can’t do that with Kenny Pickett. The Pittsburgh Steelers going to have a losing record, and it may be really, really bad.”

While Mike Tomlin is surely having an issue to solidify the Pittsburgh Steelers’ unit, this game against the New York Jets was important for many reasons. One of which was to avoid a consecutive conference loss. Moreover, this could have been the Steelers’ first home win, which proved to be a nightmare. Will the story change? Or is the fate of Pittsburgh Steelers going to be same? Remains to be seen.
