The resilient Kansas City Chiefs, who are being led by former MVP – quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce, will be heading to their third Super Bowl in four years. They also avenged last year’s loss to Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals on their home floor.

For those who missed the showdown, today’s battle royale looked headed to another overtime as it did last year. A 15-yard penalty on defensive end Joseph Ossai for a late hit on Patrick Mahomes was the biggest turning point of the game. It set up Butker’s game-winning kick that sent Arrowhead Stadium into a frenzy.

This resulted in only 3 seconds remaining on the game clock which could only feature a desperate heave from the Bengals.
