The NBA released the schedule for the next season recently. It has excited people for big matchups that will take place throughout the season between the best teams.

Stephen A Smith was asked about the matchup he was looking forward to the most. His reply was that he wants to see the Los Angeles Lakers with LeBron James face the Los Angeles Clippers with Kawhi Leonard back.

Stephen A Smith basically wants to see if the Lakers are truly contenders or not. Facing the Clippers will give an indication of where LeBron James and the Lakers stand in terms of contention.

He will be fully healthy by the time the new season resumes, and the Clippers will be one of the favorites to win it all due to his return. Kawhi had missed the entirety of last season due to the ACL injury, and he will be hungrier than ever.

Kawhi wants to win a championship with the LA Clippers, and this is his best opportunity. They have a great roster, and if they can stay healthy, they sure can leapfrog everyone in the upcoming season.
