There are so many great teams to choose from in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and there’s really no wrong way to play. If you are confused about which character to play then take a look at our list where we have Midnight Suns Characters Ranked.

Nico Minoru

Her main mechanic is roulette, which adds random buffs and debuffs to her cards when they’re drawn. Nico is a complex and compelling character in the game. However, her fighting style leaves a lot to be desired. Nico’s addition to Midnight Suns’ card draw mechanic can feel like too much randomness on top of each other with its other mechanic.

Nico has some of the most powerful abilities of any hero, and she can use stuns, counters, and other status effects to completely dominate the battlefield in the late game, but she is just a bit too inconsistent as a whole.

Magik

Magik, the sister of Colossus, is one of Marvel’s most powerful characters, so it’s only fitting that she plays a crucial role in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Similar to Doctor Strange, she doesn’t do a lot of damage. But even so, her portals are incredible. She has the ability to effortlessly manoeuvre enemies into dangerous or unfavourable circumstances. She can help you build up some amazing combinations if you choose characters that are skilled at AoE attacks.

Iron Man

All the things Iron Man does well, other heroes do better, so his main flaw is that he doesn’t have the strongest attacks, the best control, the best multi-targeting, or the most impactful support abilities. The only thing he can do well is damage every enemy on the battlefield, but other than that, he’s just a jack of all trades.

With his redraw synergy, Iron Man can get extra redraws and his cards become more powerful when redrawn. Often, Iron Man’s abilities can be more powerful than their worth because of this, but it can also be a liability if you need to spend two redraws to bounce out one of his cards.

Scarlet Witch

To excel as Scarlet Witch, you need specific conditions. When so many other heroes can plug and play on any team, Scarlet Witch feels too niche. For Scarlet Witch to be effective, she needs to position herself well – something other characters don’t have to worry about as much.

Her passive abilities and her ability to affect nearby enemies negatively depend on Wanda being in the center of a group. When faced with swarms of weak minions, Scarlet Witch can accomplish a great deal on missions. However, she is not as versatile in other situations, and for her to be effective, characters like Spider-Man need to give her extra moves each turn.

Captain America

As a Captain America, you build blocks, taunt enemies, and tank damage to kill enemies, which is definitely a strategy that works, though it’s a little boring at times. While he doesn’t do a ton of damage, he’s going to keep your enemies interested in him, and not in the other, squishier members of the team. Captain America isn’t going to get the job done if you need to kill a lot of stuff fast.

In Midnight Suns, the offensive frequently outperforms the defence, and Captain America emphasises defence a bit too much.

Captain Marvel

As you might expect, Captain Marvel is a dynamo on the battlefield. Additionally, to being able to tank a lot of damage due to her block and heal abilities, she can also dish it out too, dealing double damage with attacks and heroic abilities whenever she goes binary. In addition to getting to binary, maintaining it can be challenging. Captain Marvel can only go binary after using enough abilities, and when she loses all of her block she is knocked out of it.

Wolverine

In addition to his incredible self-sustainability, Wolverine’s ability to resurrect himself after being knocked out gives you twice as many resurrections per mission as you would receive if he had not been KO’ed. In addition to his ability to deal multiple-target damage, he has a variety of abilities that allow him to dash around the battlefield, taunting weak enemies and knocking them out. There are more powerful heroes on the team, but none are as tough as Wolverine.

Ghost Rider

There are those who will find Ghost Rider’s high-risk, high-reward playstyle to be one of the game’s most powerful heroes, but not everyone will be able to handle his high-risk, high-reward style. Since many of Ghost Rider’s abilities cause him to hurt himself, he requires a team to support him, but unlike other heroes, Ghost Rider is worth it.

In addition to Ghost Rider’s defining abilities, he also has an ability he calls the Hellmouth, where he places it in the ground so enemies can be pushed into it. The weaker the opponent, the more likely he is to fall into it. There is nothing better than pushing an elite enemy with full health into a hole for a quick kill, even though it is inconsistent.

Doctor Strange

Among the most interesting heroes to play is Doctor Strange, because he has the ability to do a lot of things no one else can. Some of his most useful abilities include turning other heroes invisible, restoring combat items you’ve already used, and restoring damage done to your cards for an entire mission. The passive ability, which grants free heroism every turn, is also one of the best.

To reach the full potential of his abilities, you usually have to have a certain amount of heroism in addition to his passive. Unless you’re building a team that generates a lot of extra heroism, you’ll usually run on empty and miss out on Strange’s bonuses unless you build a team that generates a lot of extra heroism.

Blade

In Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Blade does one thing exceptionally well – he kills things. Besides killing foes dead, he can deal triple digits of damage with ease. Because of his high numbers and the bleed effects, he is quite powerful. One downside is that he doesn’t provide much support for the team.

As a result, Blade can do some of the most damage in the game without much effort. In essence, Blade is a great performer. With his Reaper ability, which can deal damage from all stacks of bleeding at once, Blade has the ability to deal triple-digit damage in just a few attacks.

Spider-Man

A fantastic hero in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Spider-Man webs up a foe and throws them into a hazard so they can be damaged. Since he is so powerful, you may feel like you have run out of cards to play because he has so many exceptional abilities. The damage he does is strong, and a lot of his abilities are free to use.

The problem is he doesn’t excel at boss battles. His single-target finishing capabilities aren’t as strong as they should be. Spider-Man excels at using the environment to his advantage. Using his abilities, you can make environment attacks more powerful and cheaper, and even use additional moves to position him perfectly.

So these were all Midnight Suns Characters ranked for you.
