Sinner, the Italian has marauded his way to the quarter-finals, not even dropping a single set against any of his opponents.

Starting off with Botic van de Zandschulp, Sinner beat another Dutchman in the second round – Jesper De Jong.

He then demolished Sebastian Baez before steam-rolling Karen Khachanov in the fourth round.

Rublev, on the other hand, has had slightly had a more difficult path. It took a five-setter to beat Thiago Seyboth Wild in the first round. Although he had it easy against Americans – Christopher Eubanks and Sebastian Korda, Alex de Minaur the Australian made sure the Russian carried excess accumulated fatigue, going into the quarter-finals.

Rublev was made to sweat by de Minaur in a five-setter encounter.
