How to Beat Elden Ring Godskin Duo?

You are fighting two of the most difficult bosses at the same time, making this boss fight extremely difficult with conventional methods. Additionally, each Godskin boss has an individual health bar in addition to the collective health bar labeled “Godskin Duo”.

As you deal damage to either boss, their collective bar is depleted, but you do not have to end the encounter by depleting both bosses’ bars. In the case the collective bar still has health, either boss will reappear, and you must continue to fight and kill him. When only one of the Godskins has been killed, the other one can create a sigil in the air over its head to resummon the other.

As a result, it becomes quite vulnerable, but when it is summoned, it will have the ability to attack immediately, so be cautious when trying to take advantage. Even without this special attack, if both Godskins are dead, one of them will revive. Below we will give you some tips that will help you to beat Elden Ring Godskin Duo easily.

Use Ashes of War: Hoarfrost Stomp

It is also possible to distract one boss by imbuing a weapon with Ashes of War: Hoarfrost Stomp and summoning your strongest Spirit Ashes. As you stand behind one of the pillars, lure the boss there and keep spamming Hoarfrost Stomp, which deals damage through it. If they destroy a pillar, however, be careful: they will still be stuck on the base, but their attacks will still work.

If you summon Mimic Tear, it can also use Hoarfrost Stomp to deal massive damage to bosses when combined with the Sleep Strat above. However, in that case, you should refrain from using summons in order not to wake up the sleeping Godskin.

Use sleep-inducing items

The best way to fight this duo is to use sleep-inducing items like Sleepbone Arrows, Sleep Pots, Soporific Grease, or Sword of St. When you are ready to deal with the other boss, use Trina to put him to sleep. When the second boss has been defeated, wake the sleeping boss and let them re-summon their companion before putting them back to sleep. Repeat until they are out of health.

Use Comet Azur and Sleep Arrows (for magic users)

With a bow loaded with sleep arrows and the spell Comet Azur, magic users will trivialize the fight.

Attempt to put the Apostle to sleep near the Noble, while you continue firing around five arrows. Once both Godskins are asleep, cast Terra Magica and drink the Wondrous Physic with Cerulean Hidden Tear. Once both Godskins are asleep, try to put the Apostle to sleep close to the Noble.

To ensure the spell accurately hits both Godskins, line up the Godskins, target the one that is further away, and fire. They will respawn and may attempt to resurrect each other, so use sleep arrows again and finish off their health bar if this happens. Keep firing, even though their bodies will disappear, their hitboxes will allow further damage for a short time. Avoid using any Spirit Ashes for the best outcomes since they can awaken one of the Nobles.

Keep them in sight (for melee users)

A solo strategy for tackling this boss requires both the Godskin Noble and the Godskin Apostle to be in sight at all times since it is extremely difficult to fight it for exclusively melee users. Use the pillars around the arena to your advantage to prevent one from hitting you while you attack the other. Both can throw black fireballs, so you need to be extremely cautious when attacking one, as the other could be throwing one if they’re at a distance.

The second phase will destroy the pillar

In the second phase, either of them will be able to destroy these pillars. You have the opportunity to attack the Noble in phase two because the Apostle’s attacks are mostly sluggish and limited. Phase two attacks from the Noble aren’t all that harmful, but Godskin Wheel is really risky.

If you are some distance away from it when it enters phase two, it will likely use this attack immediately. Therefore, you should stay close to it to force it to use the Godskin Crusher instead, which can be easily dodged. The base of the pillar will still prevent it from moving, even if the roll destroys the top of it. Run behind a pillar if you can’t.

Elden Ring Godskin Fight Rewards

A Bell Bearing and a new Ash of War are the rewards of defeating the Godskin Duo. To unlock the Smithing Stones (7) and (8) and Ruin Fragment crafting materials, the Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing (4) must be offered to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold. The Smithing Stones (7) and (8) upgrade regular weapons from +18 to +24, while the Ruin Fragments are used to create items like Rainbow Stones and Glowstones.

As the Godskin Apostle uses the Black Flame Tornado Ash of War attack, it raises a weapon infused with the Black Flame and spins it, then slams it into the ground, creating an AoE effect similar to that of the Black Flame Ritual spell. As a default, it increases Flame damage and Faith scaling on Halberds, Twinblades, and Spears.
