Genshin Impact added Tighnari to the game as a 5-star Dendro character in the recent version 3.0. Tighnari is a Forest Watcher who prefers to live a solitary life instead of the ivory tower.

Tighnari is one of the most desired characters in the game right now since he is the first 5-star Dendro character. Players can get a headstart if they have prior knowledge about the talent materials and how to farm them for the character. Here are the Ascension and Talent Materials that are required to level up Tighnari in Genshin Impact.

Tighnari Ascension Materials and Talent Materials in Genshin Impact

Tighnari is a 5-star Dendro archer whose skills lie as the main DPS character. Therefore, players must know fully well how they can utilize his potential to the fullest.

To do so, players must first gain an understanding of details about Tighnari in Genshin Impact.

  • Element: Dendro
  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Weapon: Bow
  • Banner: Viridescent Vigil
  • Best build: Main DPS
  • Normal Attack: Khanda Barrier-Buster
  • Elemental Skill: Vijnana-Phala Mine
  • Elemental Burst: Fashioner’s Tanglevine Shaft
  • First Passive: Keen Sight
  • Second Passive: Scholarly Blade
  • Exploration Bonus: Encyclopedic Knowledge

Players must get their hands on a bunch of materials to fully upgrade Tighnari to his full potential. These primarily include Cyst Dust and Admonition materials. Travelers must also bear in mind that they can upgrade Tighnari in phases. While they will have to use the same materials regardless, players will need to upgrade the materials to a higher tier as his level increases.

Tighnari has three different talents. To upgrade Tighnari’s skills, players will have to unlock his Talent to maximum potential. To do so, players need to get their hands on the following Talent Materials.

  • 3 Crown of Insight (Limited-Timed Events)
  • 9 Teachings of Admonition (Steeple of Ignorance Domain in Sumeru)
  • 18 Fungal Spores (dropped by Fungi enemies)
  • 18 The Meaning of Aeons (by defeating the weekly Guardian of Eternity boss in the Trounce domain)
  • 63 Guide to Admonition(Steeple of Ignorance Domain in Sumeru)
  • 66 Luminescent Pollen (dropped by Fungi enemies)
  • 93 Crystalline Cyst Dust (dropped by Fungi enemies)
  • 114 Philosophies to Admonition (Steeple of Ignorance Domain in Sumeru)
  • 4,957,500 Mora

On a similar note, players can also upgrade Tighnari’s health, attack, defense, and Crit Rate. To do so, players need to get their hands on the following Ascension materials.

  • 1 Nagadus Emerald Silver (by defeating the Jadeplume Terrorshroom boss)
  • 6 Nagadus Emerald Gemstone (by defeating the Jadeplume Terrorshroom boss)
  • 9 Nagadus Emerald Fragment (by defeating the Jadeplume Terrorshroom boss)
  • 9 Nagadus Emerald Chunk (by defeating the Jadeplume Terrorshroom boss)
  • 18 Fungal Spores (dropped by Fungi enemies)
  • 30 Luminescent Pollen (dropped by Fungi enemies)
  • 36 Crystalline Cyst Dust (dropped by Fungi enemies)
  • 46 Majestic Hooked Beak (by defeating the Jadeplume Terrorshroom boss)
  • 168 Nilotpala Lotus (can be obtained at night around water in the Sumeru region)
  • 420,000 Mora

Unlike in the case of Talent upgrades, Ascension upgrades will need to be done only once for Tighnari. Therefore, compiling and making use of the aforementioned items once will allow players access to a fully upgraded Tighnari who has been unlocked to his full potential.

Obtaining the required material to fully upgrade Tighnari is no mean feat. Players have to go to great heights to achieve items such as the Nilotpala Lotus, which can only be obtained during the night time around the Sumeru region

Tighnari is currently available in the Viridescent Vigil banner, which is available from August 24 to September 9, 2022. Therefore, players should try their best to unlock the character to its full potential as soon as possible.
