Genshin Impact 3.0 Update: New Characters

Tighnari

Tighnari is a 5-star Dendro character who will use a bow. You can get it in the Viridescent Vigil Banner – Phase 1.

Collei

Collei is a 4-star Dendro character who also comes with a bow and you can get this character in Viridescent Vigil and Gentry of Hermitage Banner – Phase 1.

Dori

Dori is a 4-star electro support character who uses a claymore and you can get this character in Adrift in the Harbor and Drifting Luminescene Banner – Phase 1.

Genshin Impact 3.0 Update: Banners

Phase 1 banner

After the Version 3.1 update, Tighnari will be available through the standard wish, Wanderlust Invocation, where the drop rate will be boosted. Phase 1 of Viridescent Vigil begins with 5-star Tighnari and 4-star Collei.

This banner will feature the 5-star character Zhongli from Gentry of Hermitage. Collei will continue to receive her high drop-rate boost during this banner. Phase 1 banners are scheduled to run from Wednesday, 24th August, and will be available simultaneously. At this point, no end date has been confirmed for these banners.

Phase 2 banner

The banners begin with the rerun of Adrift in the Harbor, in which Ganyu, a 5-star character, and Dori, a 4-star character with a high drop-rate bonus appear. In Phase 2, Sangonomiya Kokomi and Dori, whose drop-rate boost will remain the same, will appear in Drifting Luminescene, which ends in a rerun.

Genshin Impact 3.0 Weapons

The Vortex Vanquisher will have an increased drop rate until the Epitome Invocation weapon Banner refreshes in Phase 2, as Zhongli’s banner is rerun during Phase 1. Phase 2’s featured weapon has not been announced yet, but with Ganyu’s Banner returning, Amos’ Bow is likely to be featured, since her best weapon is the Amos’ Bow.

For Genshin Impact 3.0 update, there are two new bows, the first of which is the 5-star Hunter’s Path. Because this is a 5-star item, it is most likely to be acquired through a Weapons Banner, but more details have not yet been revealed. The second bow is the 4-star End of the Line. There is also a brand-new set of forgeable weapons with a Sumeru-themed design.

Genshin Impact 3.0 Artifacts

A new Artifact set – Deepwood Memories – and Gilded Dreams – will be introduced in Generation Impact 3.0 update. To obtain them, you will have to challenge the new Domain of Blessing, Spire of Solitary Enlightenment.

Genshin Impact 3.0 Update: Events

Graven Innocence event

It involves assisting staff at Acara Crafts, a toy store in Port Ormos with the development of new toys. During the event, there will be a tutorial quest – Meticulous Craftsmanship – which allows you to invite Collei to your team if you complete it. No additional criteria is required for this quest.

You can also gather Creative Notes throughout the event, which you can then use at the toy shop to get a variety of rewards. Several tasks, like snapping pictures of the Sumeru wildlife, completing challenges, engaging in combat, and playing Grove Dash, a kind of magical parkour, can be completed to find Creative Notes. You will get the following rewards in this event:

Fayz Trails event

You will be playing with a whole trial party during Fayz Trails, the first challenge event in Genshin Impact 3.0. While fighting your enemies in this event, you will have the option of drinking a special Fayz Potion, which will freeze you and your enemies at the same time. This will enable you to improve your special skills by capturing your enemy’s weaknesses. You will get the following rewards in this event:

Tablet Analytics event

Using buffs to defeat your enemies is a focus of Tablet Analytics, a challenge event as well. In each trail, you must defeat as many enemies as you can while using a special mechanism to activate one or more buffs at random. This event challenges can be completed using either your own team or a selection of trial characters. You will get the following rewards in this event:

Lost Riches event

You’ll meet Ulman and his Mini Seelie again at this occasion for some treasure-hunting. Bring a Mini Seelie along with you on your explorations, and you can uncover some hidden riches using Ulman’s Treasure Map. Just keep in mind to first assist the Mini Seelie in absorbing some elemental energy. You will get the following rewards in this event:

Genshin Impact 3.0 update release date

Developer miHoYo revealed during the Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream that Impact 3.0 will come out on Wednesday, 24th August, following approximately five hours of server downtime starting at 6am (UTC +8).

Version 3.1 will release on Wednesday, 28th September
Version 3.2 will release on Wednesday, 2nd November
Version 3.3 will release on Wednesday, 7th December
