Ninnguang is a playable Geo character in Genshin Impact. She is the floating Jade Chamber’s owner and the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing in the Liyue skies. Her riches are unmatched throughout Teyvat. She is a successful entrepreneur who persevered and used her sharp wit to build her money. Ningguang is quite wealthy, but she avoids excess and manages her mora well.

Ningguang Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths
- Strong shield provides protection against ranged attacks.
- Useful for fighting from a long range.
Weaknesses
- Low ATK Speed.
- Auto target Normal Attack is not great vs multiple enemies.
Genshin Impact Ningguang Abilities
Sparkling Scatter
- Normal Attack – Shoots gems that deal Geo DMG. Upon hit, this grants Ningguang 1 Star Jade.
- Charged Attack – Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to fire off a giant gem that deals Geo DMG. If Ningguang has any Star Jades, unleashing a Charged Attack will cause the Star Jades to be fired at the enemy as well, dealing additional DMG.
- Plunging Attack – Gathering the might of Geo, Ningguang plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all enemies in her path. Deals AoE Geo DMG upon impact with the ground.
Jade Screen (Elemental Skill)
Ningguang creates a Jade Screen out of gold, obsidian and her great opulence, dealing AoE Geo DMG. The Jade Screen blocks enemy projectiles. Its endurance is based on Ningguang’s MAX HP. Jade Screen is considered a Geo Construct and can be used to block certain attacks, but cannot be climbed. Only one Jade Screen may exist at any one time.
Starshatter (Elemental Burst)
Gathering a great number of gems, Ningguang scatters them all at once, sending homing projectiles at her enemies that deal massive Geo DMG. If Starshatter is cast when a Jade Screen is nearby, the Jade Screen will fire additional gem projectiles at the same time.

Bonus Effect: ATK 10.8%
Skill Effect – Increases Shield Strength by 20%. Scoring hits on opponents increases ATK by 4% for 8s. Max 5 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.3s. While protected by a shield, this ATK increase effect is increased by 100%
2. Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds
Base Attack: 46
Bonus Effect: CRIT Rate 7.2%
Skill Effect – Increases Movement SPD by 10%. When in battle, gain an 8% Elemental DMG Bonus every 4s. Max 4 stacks. Lasts until the character falls or leaves combat.
3. Prototype Amber
Base Attack: 42
Bonus Effect: HP 10.0%
Skill Effect – Using an Elemental Burst regenerates 4 Energy every 2s for 6s. Additionally, all party members will regenerate 4% HP every 2s for this duration.
Ningguang Best Artifact Build
1. Archaic Petra
- Gain a 15% Geo DMG Bonus.
- Upon obtaining an Elemental Shard Created through a Crystallize Reaction, all party members gain a 35% DMG Bonus for that particular element for 10s. Only one form of Elemental DMG Bonus can be gained in this manner at any one time.
2. Noblesse Oblige
- Elemental Burst DMG +20%.
- Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.
3. Retracing Bollide
- Increases Shield Strength by 35%
- While protected by a shield, gain an additional 40% Normal and Charged Attack DMG.
Ningguang Passive Talents
1. Trove of Marvelous Treasures (Unlocked Automatically)
Displays the location of nearby ore veins (Iron Ore, White Iron Ore, Crystal Ore, and Magical Crystal Ore) on the mini-map.
2. Backup Plan (Unlocked at Ascension 1)
When Ningguang is in possession of Star Jades, her Charged Attack does not consume Stamina.
3. Strategic Reserve (Unlocked at Ascension 4)
A character that passes through the Jade Screen will gain a 12% Geo DMG Bonus for 10s.

1. Piercing Fragments
When a Normal Attack hits, it deals AoE DMG.
2. Shock Effect
When Jade Screen is shattered, its CD will reset. Can occur once every 6s.

Increases the Level of Starshatter by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
4. Exquisite be the Jade, Outshining All Beneath
Jade Screen increases nearby characters’ Elemental RES by 10%.
