Final Fantasy 14 Zodiac Weapons – Everything You Should Know

published

Here is a guide that will explain everything about the Final Fantasy 14 Zodiac Weapons. Read it carefully till the end.

Once you have completed A Realm Reborn, you can craft a Zodiac Relic Weapon. Although crafting this weapon takes a lot of time, it will be worth every second once you’ve finished.  In order to craft a Zodiac weapon, you will need to put in dozens of hours, tons of materials, Gil, and other currencies.

While level 50 weapons were once the best you could get, they are now severely outdated and shouldn’t be used after level 55. Despite the prestige and status associated with owning one of the rarest items in the game, you’ll probably still want to make a Zodiac weapon. The below guide will explain everything about the Final Fantasy 14 Zodiac Weapons.

Zenith Zodiac Weapons

Zenith Zodiac Weapons were introduced in Patch 2.0, and are an enhanced version of the original Item Level 90 Zodiac Weapons. The previous name for them was “Relic Weapon +1”, but this was changed to “Relic Weapon Zenith” in patch 2.1.

It is extremely easy to upgrade a Zenith Relic Weapon. Three Thavnairian Mists are required for the upgrade. If upgraded at the furnace near Gerolt, Zenith Zodiac Weapons glow faintly when unsheathed.

Atma Zodiac Weapons

A new stage of the Zodiac Weapons was introduced in Patch 2.2 with the Atma Zodiac Weapons. Jalzahn replaces Gerolt as your new weaponsmith and guide. In a quest called Up in Arms, you grind FATEs in different zones of Eorzea in exchange for items called Atmas, which drop randomly after successfully completing the quest. As soon as they are upgraded, Atma Zodiac Weapons will no longer glow when unsheathed and will change slightly in color.

Animus Zodiac Weapons

In Patch 2.2, Animus Final Fantasy 14 Zodiac Weapons were introduced. Jalzahn wants you to recreate the heroic deeds of the Zodiac Braves, revered heroes in Thavnairian legend. As part of the Trials of the Braves quest, you have to complete specific dungeons, FATE missions, and quests, and kill specific monsters as outlined in nine books. The Animus Zodiac Weapons will glow brightly when unsheathed when upgraded.

Novus Zodiac Weapons

Players can customize their Novus Zodiac Weapons, which were introduced in Patch 2.28 as the fifth stage of the Zodiac Weapons. As a result of the presence of soul energy, conventional melding will not be successful, Jalzahn believes that you may still be able to strengthen your weapon with the power of materia.

The Side Quest Celestial Radiance allows Hubairtin to overcome this by converting the power of materia into light energy. By melding 75 different materias with Alexandrite on a Sphere Scroll, you can customize your weapon on the Side Quest Star Light, Star Bright. Novus Zodiac Weapons glow bright yellow/gold when they are unsheathed when upgraded.

Nexus Zodiac Weapons

Nexus Final Fantasy 14 Zodiac Weapons were introduced in Patch 2.38. Jalzahn believes that unattuned soul energy is holding back the potential of your weapon. This time, he is partnering with Gerolt to guide you forward.

During the Side Quest Mmmmmmm, Soulglazed Relics, you must seal your weapon aethertight and attune its soul energy by going through dungeons, trials, FATEs, Treasure Hunts, Mysterious Maps, and PvP. When enhanced, Nexus Zodiac Weapons come unsheathed with a brilliant white radiance.
