During the release of FIFA 23 on September 30, EA Sports FIFA announced Ted Lasso and the AFC Richmond Greyhounds will be playable characters. As a result, you will have the option of managing AFC Richmond by placing them in the Premier League or any other playable Career Mode league, or you can choose to choose Jason Sudeikis’s favorite character Lasso to manage in Career Mode. What is Ted Lasso
Developed by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt, and Joe Kelly, Ted Lasso is a television sports comedy-drama. Even though Ted Lasso has never coached soccer, he is unexpectedly recruited as coach of a fictional English Premier League football club, AFC Richmond.
In an attempt to exact revenge on the previous owner of the team, Rebecca Welton hires Lasso in the hope that he will fail. Ted’s charm, personality, and humor, however, quickly win over Rebecca, her team, and other skeptical members.

In the FIFA Ultimate Team mode, players will be able to unlock AFC Richmond-specific items such as kits, manager items, and other content. In Career Mode, fans will be able to play as their favorite soccer manager, Ted Lasso, playing as one of the iconic characters of Jason Sudeikis. Additionally, players have the option of choosing a real manager to lead AFC Richmond or creating their very own manager.
Sudeikis said in a press release issued by EA Sports that he considered this experience to be among the best of many special moments in his career. Having Ted Lasso and the entire AFC Richmond squad incorporated into the latest version of EA Sports FIFA is truly a dream come true for him and the rest of the guys as long-time fans of the game.
