The Monster among Men Braun Strowman has set his sights on the Intercontinental title

Braun Strowman might be the most powerful male wrestler in WWE but that hasn’t translated to a singles title reign.

The 36-year-old has won the WWE Raw Tag Team title on two occasions but never an individual belt.

Strowman also won the Money in the Bank in 2018 but could not encash it to win the title. However, things seem to be changing for him as he battled Shinsuke Nakamura in the previous episode of SmackDown.

The Monster has been in a feud with Nakamura, Cesaro and Sami Zayn and the trio tried to beat him down.

Cesaro and Zayn tried to distract Strowman in the match, however, the Monster beat Nakamura in a one-on-one fight.

It seems that he is set for a clash with the Japanese star with the Intercontinental title on the line. Strowman celebrated by lifted the title on SmackDown and posted an image of that moment on Twitter.

The Monster claimed that this could be the future and the title looked “good” in his hands.

Royal Rumble clash for Strowman

The Monster could be in line for a shot at the title at the Royal Rumble. Only a few matches have been confirmed for the card but the IC crown should be on the line in a few days.

Nakamura has been a great champion and would use the help of Zayn and Cesaro to take on Strowman.

However, The Monster showed that he can still pick up the win when the odds aren’t in his favour.
