Honkai Star Rail Trash Can Locations: Lower Administrative District

In the upper section of Honkai: Star Rail’s Administrative District, players can find a total of nine trash cans, each with their own unique location. To obtain the necessary items, players must interact with trash cans number 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 9.

The first trash is near the Goethe Hotel Space Anchor, while the second one is located to the west of it. To interact with the third bin, players must climb the stairs to the north of the hotel. Once at the top, players can descend the same stairs to locate the fourth and fifth trash cans to the east.

Players can then turn northwest to investigate the sixth and seventh bins. To find the eighth can, players must walk north and locate it next to a dumpster. The ninth and final trash can can be found by turning east and inspecting it next to the railings of the stairs.

Honkai Star Rail Trash Can Locations: Middle Administrative District

To find the 10th trash can, players should fast-travel to the Central Plaza Space Anchor and go northeast to the left side of the Book Store. This is the only trash can that players must investigate for achievement. Walk to the store’s east side to rummage through the 11th bin. As for the 12th trash can, players should walk southeast near Bronya’s location in Honkai: Star Rail to locate it.

The 13th and 14th trash cans are very close to each other. Players can either go south around the statue from the previous location or walk southeast from the Central Plaza Space Anchor to find the 13th trash can. Simply continue southwest to interact with the 14th one.

Honkai Star Rail Trash Can Locations: Upper Administrative District

The upper section of the Administrative District holds 5 trash cans. To find the first one, teleport to the Golden Theater Space Anchor and turn around to locate the 15th trash can. For the next two, head northwest and northeast respectively to find the 16th and 17th trash cans. These two trash cans are the only ones in this batch that grant an item upon interaction.

To find the 18th trash can move south of the theater by heading southeast from the waypoint. Once you’ve descended the stairs, continue walking south until you spot the 19th trash can next to a vending machine.

Honkai Star Rail Trash Can Locations: Lower Floor of the Administrative District

The remaining 3 trash cans are located on the lower floor of the Administrative District. Head down the stairs near the cable car station and go around to the other side to discover the 20th and final trash can. However, it’s worth noting that this trash can is not immediately accessible and is locked behind Trailblaze level 24 Mission in Honkai: Star Rail.

Out of all the trash cans, the 20th one is not worth investigating as it only provides a boring prompt and no reward. Players can choose to skip this trash can if they don’t want to go through the extra effort.

Tips to Remember

It’s worth noting that one of the trash cans in Honkai: Star Rail’s Administrative District is inaccessible until players complete the Main Mission of level 24. But the good news is that it’s not necessary to interact with this bin to obtain the items required for the Diogenes’ Utopia achievement.

This means that players can still complete the achievement without having to wait until they’ve completed the Main Mission. And even better, there are no enemies or monsters lurking around the area, so players can search through the trash cans without worrying about being attacked.

Conclusion

Getting the Diogenes’ Utopia achievement in Honkai: Star Rail requires players to obtain ten items from the twenty available trash cans in the Administrative District. By following this guide, players can easily find the Honkai Star Rail Trash Can locations and interact with the necessary trash cans to complete the achievement.
