Predicted Everton XI to face Bournemouth in the Premier League

Everton progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 victory over Lincoln City after suffering a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Leicester City on New Year’s Day.

Everton currently sit 11th in the standings and the Toffees will be desperate to climb into the top ten when they play host to Bournemouth on Sunday.

Bournemouth have lost momentum after a solid start to the season and Eddie Howe’s side will be looking to get something out of this game after playing out a 3-3 draw against Watford in their previous outing.

Everton and Bournemouth played out a thrilling 2-2 draw earlier in the season and both the teams will be keen to enforce a result this time around.

Marco Silva has no major injuries to contend with and he will be expected to make a few changes to the eleven that played in the FA Cup.

Predicted XI

1. Jordan Pickford (GK)

The Englishman has made a few bizarre errors but has otherwise been a reliable presence between the sticks this season.

2. Jonjoe Kenny (RB)

The youngster has done reasonably well playing on the right-hand side of the backline and Silva should hand him another start ahead of Seamus Coleman who has been struggling for form.

3. Kurt Zouma (CB)

The Frenchman has been a solid presence at the heart of the defence and he will be expected to start on Sunday.

4. Yerry Mina (CB)

He has looked a bit shaky at times but Silva is likely to give him the nod ahead of Michael Keane for this one.

5. Lucas Digne (LB)

Leighton Baines started in the FA Cup fixture but the Frenchman has been in terrific form in the Premier League this season.

6. Idrissa Gana Gueye (CDM)

The Senegalese ace has been a key figure in the middle of the park for the Toffees, breaking up the play with crucial tackles and interceptions.

7. Andre Gomes (CDM)

The Barcelona loanee has done a fantastic job in the midfield with his passing and distribution and he will be looking to bounce back from a lacklustre display against Leicester.

8. Bernard (LW)

The diminutive Brazilian will be in high spirits after scoring in the FA Cup.

9. Ademola Lookman (RW)

The youngster will be high on confidence after netting in the FA Cup and Silva should back him with a start in the Premier League.

10. Gylfi Sigurdsson (CAM)

The Icelandic international is the key playmaker of the team and Everton will need him to be at the top of his game on Sunday.
