WWE NXT Results and Grades: Adam Cole vs Finn Balor was one of the biggest stories coming out of NXT.

The pair were tied 2-2 in the Four-way Iron Man match last week and now meet again to decide who is the NXT Champion.

Rhea Ripley was to face Mercedes Martinez in a steel cage match too. However, we start off this WWE NXT results and grades piece with the title match.

Balor vs Cole

Balor and Cole exchanged a ton of blows and put on a show. They knew each other from their Bullet Club days and in the end, it was Balor who became a two-time NXT Champion.

Balor beats Cole

Grade A

This was an excellent match showcasing what both men can do. It was, however, a surprise seeing Cole not win given how dominant he has been with the UE on NXT.

Shirai vs Blackheart; Nox vs LeRae

Shotzi Blackheart was upset with Robert Stone checking out her tank. Aliyah then made the save before Io Shirai’s photoshoot was ruined.

Blackheart and Shirai then destroyed Stone and Aliyah before they teased a clash.

Tegan Nox and Candice LeRae hoped to get their friendship going. However, Nox wasn’t keen on becoming a heel and dumped pasta on Johnny Gargano’s head.

Grade C

Blackheart vs Shirai seems a little too rushed at the moment. There is no doubt that Blackheart is talented but this seems a little too soon for her.

LeRae has been excellent since turning heel and it seems this rivalry with Nox will develop.

The Dream gets attacked

Velveteen Dream faced off against Ashante Adonis and got an easy win over his opponent.

However, Dream was attacked by Kushida and made him tap while the referees had to break up the pair.

Dream beats Adonis

Grade C

Kushida could have taken Dream out in a normal segment rather than after a match. It will be interesting to see how this rivalry goes though.

Reed vs Theory

Bronson Reed looked to be in trouble against Austin Theory but the Australian took an opening and made it count.

He picked up the win over Theory as he continues to impress.

Reed beats Theory

Grade C

This was more of a squash match rather than building on a rivalry. Theory is a talent but needs more time in the ring.

Dain attacks a star

Roderick Strong took on Killian Dain and it was Strong who got the win. Strong was with Bobby Fish and the pair attacked Dain after the match.

However, Drake Maverick made the save but was attacked by Dain after that.

Strong beats Dain

Grade C

This was a fun match as anything normally is with the Undisputed Era members. However, a rivalry between Dain and Maverick doesn’t make sense unless they team up somehow.

Ripley vs Martinez

Ripley and Martinez used a ton of weapons in this match to get the better of the other. Stone was doing his bit outside the cage to help his client, Martinez too.

However, it was Ripley who got the win thanks to a Riptide through a table.

Ripley beats Martinez

Grade A

Ripley and Martinez are two of the toughest women on NXT and they put on quite a show. The ending was brilliant too but it will be interesting to see what is next for Ripley.
