Tucker won his first title on WWE Raw and hit out at his former partner Otis

There was a lot of madness on this week’s WWE Raw as Tucker and six others fought for the 24/7 title.

Drew Gulak was the champion coming into the evening but R-Truth won the title on this week’s Raw.

The seven-way match saw several title changes with Tucker picking up the gold twice. The former Heavy Machinery member had shocked the world by turning on Otis and then going solo too, and this was his first title in WWE.

Tucker certainly enjoyed his time as the champion and posted a dig at Otis and his time in the tag team.

“4 years with Heavy Machinery 0 Championship.

3 weeks on Raw 2 Championship Reigns.

That’s how it’s done.”

Otis and Tucker were great as a pair but things started to go sour when Otis won the Money in the Bank briefcase and then was in a relationship with Mandy Rose.

Tucker was put to the sidelines and missed WWE TV for a while too, but he is leaner and meaner than before.

No time to celebrate

While he enjoyed his title reigns, Tucker didn’t leave WWE Raw as the 24/7 champion. Gulak, Lince Dorado, Akira Tozawa, Erik and Gran Metalik all picking up the title during the mad segment.

Ultimately, it was Truth getting his title back, which is also his 44th reign as the 24/7 champion. The 24/7 title is a bit of comic relief by WWE but this segment was taking it a little too far.

Randomly putting people into the match and then changing the titles is fun sometimes but this title has become a hot potato that no one wants to hold.

Sure, Tucker got to win the title twice in one night, but he couldn’t hold onto the title.
