Paige suffered a devastating neck injury which has barred her from wrestling. She was under a contract with WWE, even though she last appeared on WWE television back in the March 20, 2020 episode of SmackDown via Skype.

However, the former Divas Champion announced her date of departure from WWE on her official Twitter account on June 10. In the note she posted on Twitter, she mentioned July 7 to be the day when her contract with the Stamford-based company expires.

The 29-year-old took to Twitter on July 7 and thanked everyone for supporting her throughout her tenure in WWE. She also mentioned how excited she is to see how her journey unfolds outside WWE.

Paige achieved a lot of success at a young age. She also won the hearts of millions with her performances in the ring. Fans wait in the hope of watching her wrestle once again, someday in the future.

It’s going to be interesting to see where Paige goes from hereon. She has good mic skills and has a lot of fans so there is a good chance that wrestling promotions might want to sign her and give her the role of managing some talent.
