Alexa Bliss was hit with an RKO this week on WWE Monday Night RAW
This week’s WWE RAW ended with Randy Orton getting his revenge on Alexa Bliss. Bliss took on Asuka for the RAW women’s title.
The main event featured Bliss turning back and forth between her normal form and her ‘dark’ form. While that was expected, the ending to the episode wasn’t.
Bliss had Asuka where she wanted her. Little Miss Bliss was about to hit The Sister Abigail to seal the deal and take home the title. However, Randy Orton showed up unannounced.
He stood behind Bliss, and hit her with an RKO as soon as she turned around. The show ended with The Viper standing over Bliss, who lay in the middle of the ring.
Nia Jax welcomes Alexa Bliss to the RKO club
And Nia Jax, someone who has been on the end of an RKO before, was on hand to welcome Bliss to this exclusive club.
Bliss posted a video and photos of the incident on her Instagram account. Jax replied to it by saying “Welcome to the club”.
Jax was RKO’d by Randy Orton in Royal Rumble 2019. Not only that, she was hit with a superkick and a 619 as well.
This was Orton’s revenge for what Bliss did to him a couple of weeks back. She attacked Orton with a fireball during his match against Triple H in the main event.
This feud between the two has emerged out of The Viper’s rivalry with The Fiend, Bray Wyatt. Wyatt has still not been seen after he was ‘burnt’ by Orton at TLC 2020 back in December.
Wyatt and Orton were rumoured to be fighting in a Firefly Fun House inferno match at Royal Rumble 2021. However, no such announcement has been made as of now.
