Mark Henry has some eyebrow-raising picks for WWE Royal Rumble winners in 2021

Speaking on the latest episode of the Busted Open podcast, former WWE wrestler Mark Henry gave his three picks for potential winners of the Royal Rumble scheduled in two weeks’ time.

The Rumble is scheduled to take place on 31st January this year. It already features two title fights as Roman Reigns will take on Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship.

The other title bout will be that of Drew McIntyre against Goldberg. The Chosen One was diagnosed with Covid-19 last week but is still scheduled to fight for the WWE heavyweight championship.

Nevertheless, the real attraction of the PPV is the Royal Rumble match itself.

This year, however, seems particularly difficult for fans to predict the winner of the match, but Mark Henry is not one to shy away from giving his predictions.

The World’s Strongest Man stated that it would be a great occasion if Edge would go on to win it this time. Edge made a return to WWE at the Rumble last year in stupendous fashion.

“This will be a great time for Edge to come back again. I mean, what he did last year in the Rumble, coming back.”

Henry then stated that Big-E and Daniel Bryan could both win as “anything can happen”. However, he was more inclined towards WWE making Bryan win the Rumble and end his losing streak.

He adds that it could be a great ’emotional’ addition if Bryan could win the title due to him recently becoming a father.

“And he [Daniel Bryan can say] I got a new baby at home. I’d love to take that title home [beating Roman Reigns]”.

Bryan is reportedly behind the plot to hand him consecutive losses on WWE as he believes his best days are behind him, and he wants to use his star power to elevate talent.

If that’s the case, this would be a great way for the promotion to pay him back for his novelty.
