Keith Lee faces Adam Cole in a winner takes all battle

This week’s NXT saw Keith Lee not only defend his North American title but also punch his way into another big match.

The Limitless One was up against Johnny Gargano and Finn Balor in a triple threat match, but more was riding on the clash.

The winner got the chance to face Adam Cole for the NXT title in a winner takes all clash. Lee saw off both his rivals and now has the chance to become the first double single champion on NXT.

There have been triple crown champions, but holding two of the singles belts at the same time has gotten Lee excited.

He posted an update after WWE NXT where he sounded confident ahead of the clash. Lee also praised his rival Cole, and this should be an incredible clash:

“The sleepers were wise. Not having air is quite the burden. What a battle!

“But still….forward march. Someone is making history as the first ever double singles champ in the existence of #WWENXT

“You may be #Undisputed…but I am #Undeniable. Mr. Cole…may the best champ win.”

The rise of Lee

Lee has been impressive ever since he made his way onto NXT. The Limitless One performs moves which someone of his size simply should not be able to do.

However, the Limitless One has been pushed heavily since Survivor Series. While NXT couldn’t get the win in that, Lee was still impressive and even earned the respect of Roman Reigns.

Lee then won the North American title and has defended it against some of the best on NXT. Cole, for his part, is the longest-reigning NXT Champion and is possibly the biggest star on the roster.

Lee vs Cole should be one of the best matches of the year, and one of them will hold both the titles come the end of it all.
