Edge thanks his team on WWE return and has nothing but great words for his wife and rising star Damian Priest

It has been a brilliant few weeks for Edge. Actually, it has been a wonderful couple of years for him if you take the bigger picture into account.

He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012, almost a year after he announced his retirement due to a neck injury. For the WWE Universe, that seemed like the last they would see of him.

However, Edge thought different. After years of hard work, he made one of the greatest returns of all time, doing so at the 2020 Royal Rumble.

A year later, he came back to the promotion again after a few months on the sidelines. And like a good gentleman, Edge credits it all to his team, and his wife, Beth Phoenix.

‘The Rated R Superstar’ posted a heartfelt message on his Instagram where he individually thanked each member of his team that helped him get back into shape for his returns.

In the end, he had some loving for his wife, and also mentioned how stoked he was to be in the ring with the new generation of WWE stars such as Damian Priest.

It must be a really big moment for Priest, who recently made his debut on the main roster. Earlier this week, he spoke about his desire to be in the ring with the likes of Edge and other WWE stars.

Edge is currently looking for an opponent to fight in a title match at WrestleMania 37. He has featured on all three brand as well after winning the Royal Rumble.

It is amazing to see the 47-year-old not only make a comeback, but also perform at the highest level again.

He is most likely to face Roman Reigns at the PPV in late March, although Drew McIntyre and Finn Balor are also touted as his possible opponents.
