Professional wrestling is a sport that requires precision in multiple areas, straight from microphone skills to athletic body. To achieve this several superstars have gone through multiple sports.
Some try their luck in football while others try some other athletic sports like volleyball, basketball, and other other sports. Did you know that Bayley played basketball?
Bayley has accomplished almost everything in the business. She has held the SmackDown Women’s Title and the Women’s Tag Team Title. However, before becoming a professional wrestler in 2008, she was a basketball player.
She spent her childhood in San Jose where she attended Independence High School. The Role Model represented the school as the basketball team’s captain in her senior year. Bayley was her team’s shooting guard.
Along with basketball, she also tried track and martial arts. All the athletic abilities she gained through these sports made her one of the greatest female wrestlers in the women’s division.

Bayley is scheduled to be in Nashville for SummerSlam
Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley is scheduled to be in Nashville for the SummerSlam weekend. It has been a long time since the fans have seen her in the squared circle.
Earlier this week, former AEW Women’s Champion and winner of the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Britt Baker D.M.D challenged Bayley to walk through the “Forbidden Door” and fight her as well.
“She’s coming back from an injury, and if she’s anything like me, I turned a new page. It was a new Britt Baker after I came back from injury,” said Baker. Baker then called out to Bayley, asking her if she could walk through the Forbidden Door and keep up with her in the ring. Earlier this morning, WWE’s resident role model replied to Baker with her signature catchphrase. (H/T Wrestling Inc.)
