Bayley recently suffered an ACL injury which is expected to sideline her for almost a year
Had Bayley not been injured she would have faced Bianca Belair at the Money in The Bank 2021. Things could have been very different by now. She was performing impeccably well during the pandemic.
However, on the 9th of July Bayley tore her ACL while training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
The injury resulted in her being sidelined for 9 long months. She also had to miss her match against Bianca Belair at the Money in the Bank 2021.
Bayley suffered the injury while at the mandatory training routine that all of the wrestlers have to take part in.
Following her injury, she received widespread love and encouragement from a plethora of members of the wrestling community. They will have to wait for whole nine months before they can see their beloved star in action.
Several superstars unhappy with WWE’s mandatory training
According to a report from Rajah.com, it has been learnt that several superstars have condemned the WWE’s mandatory training routine.
A wrestler (name not revealed) is believed to have told Wrestling Observer that almost everyone had to participate in the WWE’s mandatory training since the promotion felt that getting back on the road required a lot of training.
He also pointed out that the wrestlers were performing week-in and week-out, but were still asked to undergo extra training.
The WWE also claimed that they were only trying to get the stars in shape during the pandemic, which was also frowned upon by several superstars.
