Chelsea Green and her boyfriend Matt Cardona were upset after the WWE sent them a trash bag

After months of inactivity Green was released by the WWE recently, on the 15th of April, last month. The 30-year old was released despite signing a 3-year deal back in November 2020.

Upon her release, she recently started a podcast named ’50 shades of Green’ in which she recently opened up on a horrifying story about the WWE – The Trash Bag Debacle.

In the first episode, Mickie James who was also recently released from the WWE, was the guest. Then, Green began her long story:

Soon after she was released from the promotion, she had received a huge FedEx box. Since she had got a call from the promotion a week before, she guessed that it must have been left over merchandise.

When Green and her boyfriend Cardona decided to open it, all they had found was a bag filled with worn out ‘sh*t’, as Green described in her podcast.

“Inside of that box was a nice, fresh, plastic fuc*ing bag, full to the brim with sh*t. Just a bunch of sh*t.” [via WrestlingNews]

This had upset both Green and her boyfriend. But, it didn’t end there. On inspecting the items of the bag, a lot of items ‘not belonging to her’ were found, which further upset the couple. And, most of the items were that of Natalya’s.

“I first pulled out some black boots, beautiful black boots, but not my black boots. I then pull out a second pair of black boots. Again, beautiful boots, but not my boots. Here we get to the third item. The third item was the most gorgeous, little leather shrug with studs and diamonds and flappy things and pink jewels and all sorts of things. If you knew women’s wrestling, you know that the person who wears black leather with pink is always the same person. That is always going to be Nattie.” [via WrestlingNews]

Chelsea Green reveals the WWE handled the fiasco in the best possible way

Randomly getting released from the roster itself is a pain in the first place. Added to that, getting sent a pile of garbage, would hurt even the calmest of minds.

It would have been totally wrong on WWE’s part, had they not apologized for such an incident. However, Green further revealed in the podcast that the promotion handled the mess in the best way possible.

Triple H, Stephanie McMahon had come forward on Twitter and publicly apologized for the mishap, and even revealed that the person responsible for this action had been fired with immediate notice.

Green then described how the promotion called each of those who had received the trash bag, apologized and even sent them flowers.
