Draymond Green was livid at a Milwaukee Bucks fan but what did he say that saw an ejection taking place

There was a lot of controversy in the game between Milwaukee and Golden State but the major talking point seemed to come from a fan inside the arena.

While the Warriors ended up losing to the Bucks, it was Draymond Green that got a fan ejected from the stadium.

Green was seen having a back-and-forth with a fan during some free throws for Giannis. This seemed to continue for a while and later, Green was seen speaking to the officials in an agitated manner.

The officials seemed to have heard enough and the fan was ejected from the stadium.

What did the fan say to Draymond Green during the match?

While it was difficult to make out what was said by the fan exactly, Green did speak about the event after the game.

The Golden State star claimed that the fan threatened his family and the referees were not having any of it (h/t Yahoo Sports):

“Some threatening stuff to my life,” Green said when asked what the fan was saying to him. “I was this close to really going back and diving all the way in. But just went back and told the official. When I told the official what he said, he was like ‘Oh, he’s got to get out of here.’ “

The Bucks also added that this incident was being investigated and they were talking to the NBA as well.

Green further discussed the unsavoury incident and claimed this was a league-wide issue. However, he added that the NBA was always working to solve this problem.

The Golden State star, however, wanted more strict punishment for such unruly fans.

“If you just get kicked out of the game, and thanks to the league for that, but you’re just going to go live the rest of your life no problem. I think once these things get to a points where they start affecting lives, then they’ll change. But until then, there’s only so much you can do.”

Green added that he would like to see the fan banned, and it is to be seen what the next step for the NBA is in all this.

This isn’t the first or last time a fan has gone over the top while talking back to a player. Hopefully, we don’t see a repeat of such threats in the future.
