Zelina Vega had been incredible on Raw in 2020 as her stable tried to take control of the brand.
Vega had Andrade and Angel Garza to work with and recently got rid of Austin Theory. However, that only made her faction stronger as they tried to dominate WWE.
The 29-year-old Vega, real name Thea Megan Trinidad, has been excellent with the microphone and could be the best manager on Raw presently.
However, she has a lot of experience in the ring too and here is all you need to know about her.
Zelina Vega Early career
Vega might not be seen wrestling a lot these days but she is a former champion in another promotion. The 29-year-old started learning wrestling when she was 17 from TJ Perkins, Azrieal and Javi-Air. She made her wrestling debut in 2010 under the name Divina Fly for the National Wrestling Superstars promotion.
She fought in several other promotions before joining Total Nonstop Action in 2011 after featuring in several dark matches.
Vega is a former TNA Knockouts tag team champion with Sarita and featured in several other promotions such as Family Wrestling Entertainment, AAA, Global Force Wrestling and ROH. She did have a few try-outs with WWE during her time in the indies. Vega was one of Adam Rose’s Rosebuds and even fought Asuka on NXT in 2016.

Vega finally got her WWE contract in 2017 and started training in the Performance Center. She started accompanying Andrade after slapping him for his behaviour and even helped him pick up the NXT title.
Vega wrestled a few times on NXT but she mostly was helping Andrade cement his place. After a year or so, the pair were called up to SmackDown and Vega even defeated Lana in her first match on the Blue Brand.
In 2019, Vega and Andrade were drafted to Raw and El Idolo picked up the US Championship. Vega also participated in the Women’s Royal Rumble but was eliminated. However, she now has a stable which features Andrade and Garza.
However, she was released by WWE in 2020 after a fallout regarding the usage of third party outlets.

Vega was born in Queens, New York City and got into the world of professional wrestling thanks to her brother Timothy and father Michael.
Her mother, Monique Ferrer, and father divorced when the two siblings were young but stayed friends.
Vega’s father was tragically killed in the September 11 attacks in the World Trade Center and the WWE star volunteered for several charitable organisations.

Vega married fellow wrestler Aleister Black in 2018. The husband-wife duo haven’t been seen together on Raw as they are following different routes, however, they do have several photos together.
Vega and Black also have a YouTube channel where they cover a lot of aspects of their lives.

Vega is now one of the top stars in WWE and her decade or so in the wrestling business has earned her a decent net worth.
Estimates suggest that the WWE star has a net worth of $2million. However, this should grow further as she is on a great run in 2021.
