Stephen Thompson vs Geoff Neal is the main event for the latest Fight Night event and Anthony Pettis made his prediction

Former UFC Champion Anthony Pettis is in a different stretch of his career as he already has plans for outside of the Octagon.

Showtime, as he is called, isn’t even on the main card as he fights on the prelim one against Alex Morono.

While Pettis has understood that he cannot headline events like he did five to ten years back, he still is a big name and wants to help many who are starting their MMA careers.

Pettis has his own MMA management company and plans to help and guide those who are trying to get into the game.

Nevertheless, Showtime also made his prediction for the main event. Stephen Thompson vs Geoff Neal is an excellent fight with two top talents and Pettis shared his prediction for the same.

Wonderboy for the win

Showtime was speaking to The Schmo after the weigh ins for the event took place. Pettis and Morono both made weight and the former champion believed even in the smaller UFC Apex Octagon, it was Wonderboy who would get the win:

“That is a good fight. I think Wonderboy’s style is hard to prepare for, like anybody that has a rangy style that isn’t in the UFC or in a higher organisation, it is hard to find those guys.

“Depending on how he approaches this, with the smaller cage, I think it is a disadvantage to Wonderboy but I have to go Wonderboy though.”

It will be interesting to see who comes out on top in all this. Neal is a difficult opponent while no one can hate Thompson.

This is a great way to end the final event of the year and the UFC would want to go out with a bang.
