UFC 296 is the final PPV in 2023 but are tickets on sale for the event?

UFC 296, in all likelihood, will be one of the biggest MMA events of the year. This is the final PPV of 2023 for the UFC and Dana White would like to put on a show.

There have been some suggestions that Conor McGregor could be fighting on the card. The Irishman was one of the coaches on The Ultimate Fighter while Michael Chandler was the other.

There has been some confusion regarding McGregor’s USADA testing, but there still is a lot of hype around UFC 296 despite no official news about the card.

Tickets are normally available via the UFC site as it takes the user to a ticket sales site. However, UFC 296 tickets are not available or on sale at the moment.

The UFC website has details until UFC 295 where Jon Jones defends his UFC Heavyweight title against former champion Stipe Miocic.

That fight takes place on November 11 and will be held at the world-famous Madison Square Garden in New York.

In fact, no other event after UFC 295 has even been listed in the events section of the promotion.

Will Conor McGregor fight Michael Chandler at UFC 296?

Conor McGregor seemed to retweet some information about his next fight. The Irishman has not fought since breaking his leg in the trilogy against Dustin Poirier in 2021.

However, he has taken jabs at Chandler time and again. Dana White also hasn’t confirmed when McGregor will be back fighting in the Octagon, but the Irishman decided to bait some of his fans with one simple tweet.

The screen grab seems to be from the UFC Fight Pass link and it confirms that UFC 296 will take place on 16 December. The event, as expected, is headlined by the McGregor vs. Chandler fight, so it seems the pair will meet in the final PPV of the year.,

Of course, McGregor has a history of deleting tweets later on, and again, nothing has been made official about them possibly fighting.

However, the UFC finishing the year with a McGregor fight would certainly bring a lot of PPV sales. He is by far the biggest name in the sport, and there is a decent rivalry with Chandler for the UFC to build on.
