Tommy Kuhse Career
Kuhse started playing basketball in his high school, Mountain Views High School in Arizona. Initially, he was playing two games, baseball and basketball. At the end of his junior season, he decided to go with one sport and chose basketball. He was awarded with the city player of the year and also averaged 21 points with 4 assist and 5.3 rebounds in his senior year. Kushse received few scholarships from local colleges but it wasn’t not a good place continue his basketball journey. Though he did not get an invite form Saint Mary’s, he joined over there to continue his journey.
In his freshman year, he was redshirted sometimes and a walk on too. At the end of freshman year, Kuhse played just 24 games and averaged just 2.3 minutes per game. It was a bit disappointing for Kuhse but still he kept on improving his skills and tactics. In the sophomore year, he got a bit of added role to work upon. Out of the 36 games, he played in 24 of them and averaged 2.3 minutes per game. In a match against Eastern Washington, he scored a massive 34 points and set his career-high score. At the end of his senior year, he entered into the 2022 NBA draft.
It was a bit disappointing for him as he went undrafted in the draft. But after few hours he signed to play for the Orlandos in the 2022 Summer. It was a season to remember for Kuhse, as he averaged 17.3 points with 3.3 assists and 3 steals per game. On August, Kuhse was waived by the Orlando’s and later he joined with the Austin Spurs to play in the NBA G League. As of now, everything is going well for Kuhse with the Spurs.
