Thymesia Guide – 10 Tips and Tricks for Beginners

published

In the Thymesia Guide, we have lots of tips and tricks that you are not aware of. This guide will help you to advance in the game easily.

The punishing action-RPG Thymesia has diverse plague weapons and fast combat. It was a time of prosperity for the kingdom of Hermes, but times have changed. What was once a leading force for healing has fallen to the abyss of calamity. Alchemy once served as a panacea for all the maladies of the land and is now a practice widely used by the people.

A number of attempts to halt alchemy use were made, each equally woefully unsuccessful, resulting in catastrophic consequences across the realm when its price became too high. Within days, all hope of a cure had been lost as infected monsters prowled the blood-soaked streets. To have a good start in the game, you will need our Thymesia guide, as it has some tips and tricks that you are definitely not aware of.

Thymesia Guide: Explore

Exploring will lead to treasure, Memories, and even Generals. Furthermore, exploring will lead to shortcuts, so you can loop back to Beacons, or return to new areas upon death, without having to fight the entire level over and over. Additionally, exploring will reveal lore that can provide a deeper understanding of the world.

Thymesia Guide: Skill Shard

The Skill Shard is a material that unlocks and upgrades your Plague Weapons. Most of these enemies do not respawn when you rest at a beacon because they are dropped from higher-tier enemies. You can farm Shards if you identify the level that has the best access to the enemy you’re hunting, load into the level, kill the enemy, then return to the beacon and quit out to begin the process.

Thymesia Guide: Do not forget about the upgrades

When you complete a checkpoint in Thymesia, you can rearrange your upgrades if you so choose. You earn talent points for each level you complete in the game, and these upgrades are very useful.

For certain enemies, especially certain bosses, your upgrades are greatly beneficial, and there is no charge for doing so. The amount of health that your potion heals can also be increased by adding different ingredients, increasing the number of potions, or increasing the number of potions. This is a much-needed boost for boss battles, particularly the ones that get tougher.

Thymesia Guide: Feathers

An enemy’s attacks can be disrupted with the feather attack by throwing a sharp feather at them, leaving them vulnerable. Feather attacks are a form of ranged parry. You can smack them several times as soon as they’re open to attack before getting out of the way of their rebuttals.

Gather the memories

The walls in the game are filled with memories, and you will gain varying amounts of EXP by killing enemies. You can spend these memories by returning to a beacon. These are the basics of the game. However, Death will drop all the memories you have accumulated.

Of course, this does not signal the end of the world. You can retrieve your forgotten memories if you can go back to the spot where you died. All those memories will be permanently lost if you pass away before you arrive. Avoid hoarding your memories, drive carefully on the way back, and use them wherever you can.

Aggressive strategy can be useful

There is a great deal of aggression in Thymesia. Enemies are relentless, attacks come thick and fast, and you must deal with them, and embrace them, in order to survive. Almost every system in Thymesia forces you to attack constantly. Enemies have a lot of HP, and they recover HP when they don’t take damage. The best way to play is to be stuck in their faces and attack, while keeping an eye on their attacks so that you can deflect them for even more damage.

Sub quests are beneficial

As you explored the main map, you found out about Sub Quests, which usually have unique enemy placements, new enemies, and hazards. Furthermore, they have objectives as well. Upon completing these objectives, you’ll be able to leave the area and move on to the next area. The Memories earned from completing these Sub-quests are important, and the rare item drops from the different Generals that populate these quests can greatly ease your life.

Leveling up is essential

As you level up in Thymesia, you gain power faster. The Attribute Point system is a simple one, but one you should interact with quite often. By accumulating Attribute Points, you can increase your various stats, including Damage, Energy, and HP.

Talent points are important

It is important to read each talent and to plan how you want to progress your character. Talent Points are, arguably, more important than Attribute Points, since they unlock new attacks and defensive maneuvers. Every decision you make can drastically change your options in combat, so it is important to read each talent and plan how you wish to progress your character.

Attribute points are hard to reset

It is much more difficult to reset attribute points. Due to the fact that Forgotten Feathers are locked behind Attributes, you can’t respec your Attributes until you complete The Sea of Trees and defeat Odur, the Circus Master. These are dropped only by bosses, and they can only be used once.

You now have all the information you want from our Thymesia guide. When you carefully follow the guide, your gameplay will improve, and you’ll advance much more quickly.
