Baker Mayfield made his debut for the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Rams were behind by 16-3 with less than five minutes on the clock but Baker Mayfield inspired them to a win.

He led them to two back-to-back touchdown drives and impressed everyone with the way he played on his new team. Colin Cowherd was also delighted by seeing how the former Browns quarterback played on his debut for the Rams.

Speaking about Baker Mayfield, Colin Cowherd said, “I think that’s honestly, the most impressive win of his career and I’m dead serious. He won a playoff game. Go back and look at that Cleveland roster. That was a really really good roster…This was impressive. To walk into a city new playbook, new coach, new system, new teammates.” 

He added, “That’s about as impressive a moment that Baker Mayfield had. I mean, listen, we all know the playoff win in Cleveland for people in Ohio is gonna go down as a very memorable day has a really good team has a really good O-line. That was a really good roster. Baker Mayfield made the Rams watchable.”

Following his impressive debut, Baker Mayfield will continue as the starting quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams. He will be starting again this week against the Green Bay Packers, and it will be fun to watch how he performs.
