After struggling via injuries since the inaugural game, Dak Prescott has been struggling to keep at full health. The latest to justify this claim was his calf injury, yet coach Mike McCarthy expects his to play in the team’s week 9 contest against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

The Cowboys coach indicated that their #1 Quarterback was limited in the practise session on Wednesday but was back at it from the next day onwards. Especially, after knowing that Prescott has been inactive for long, and his team has been winning with relative ease, would be making the player itch to bounce back to lead his team.

To those who are not unaware, Dak Prescott hurt his calf late in Dallas’ Week 6 win over Bill Bilichick’s New England Patriots but got a chance to rest due to a bye in Week 7. He was very close to potentially suiting up against Minnesota Vikings. But as a precautionary, Jerry Jones’ Dallas Cowboys decided to give him more time to recover.

Although it is pleasing to know that Cowboys have a solid backup option in Cooper Rush, the latter has undoubtedly outshined Dak is every manner in the 2022-23 regular season.
