Breece Hall had his fair-share of hype whilst making his way into the big league. Justifying his hype, Hall has been impressive for the New York Jets in the 2022-23 season, ever since he has made his debut. Special mention goes out to his performance against the Green Bay Packers, wherein he rushed for 116 yards and led his team to a 24-10 victory.

With the expectation set beyond the 7th sky, Breece Hall could not fulfil those expectations bundled upon his shoulders in Week 7 when his team locked horns against the mighty Denver Broncos. Even though Hall rushed for 72 yards and scored a TouchDown, he was carted off the field in the team’s 9-16 loss against the Broncos.

Hall gave Jets an early lead but his evening came to an end after he was brushed aside by the opposition. He was slow to get up after a two-yard run and was eventually carted off the field. Breece Hall was then ruled out for the rest of the game with a knee injury.

Breece Hall suffered from a torn ACL

Just when worrying signs were coming from the New York Jets’ camp, ESPN’s Adam Schefter that rookie running back had indeed suffered a torn ACL, as well as a minor meniscus injury. Breece will therefore need to undergo season-ending reconstruction surgery.

As per distractify.com, Breece Hall will be returning on the field after eight months to one-year as a full-time player. Given that ACL injuries can potentially end the career of any professional athlete, Jets and Hall need to be very careful.

That being said, the Jets are scheduled to lock horns against Josh Allen’s Buffalo bills in their next fixture. Being 5-3, 2nd in AFC East, can they cause an upset? We’ll find out sooner rather than later.
