Tom Brady is all set to return on the field with his Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they lock horns in the 2022-23 season opener against the unpredictable Dallas Cowboys. With the stakes already set so high, Nick Wright revealed which team required a win more at this point.

Given that both teams have their strengths and weaknesses heading into this matchup, the Cowboys need to impose their authority on Tom Brady and Bucs on the defensive end. While the likes of Vita Vea and Akiem Hicks, Lavonte David, and Devin White are all present in the heart of the Bucs defense, the Cowboys surely would not be running the ball too often into the teeth–causing a recipe for disaster.

Nick Wright along with other panelists discussed which team required a win more on Sunday, to which he stated, “If Tampa loses however, it is a continuation of a truly worrying trend which started even before the playoffs started. When Tom Brady seemed a little skeptical about his own team’s Super Bowl chances. In the retirement, absence, coaching change – if the Bucs lose – then 1-3 or even 0-4 is also on the board.”

Can Tampa Bay, Tom Brady start 2022-23 season on a winning note on Sunday?

He added, “If the Bucs lose, keeping all the oddities of Brady’s offseason and the Cowboys not being looked as a juggernaut this season, it is clearly the league story everywhere. So, clearly who needs a win more at this point – it is Tampa Bay.”
