Concussion seems to play a huge role in the 2022-23 season ever since Tua Tagovailoa was handed a huge blow in Week3. However, the latest to add to it was New Orleans Saints’ rookie wide receiver Chris Olave, who eventually was side-lined for a game due to it. However ahead of Week 7 showdown vs the Arizona Cardinals – it seems like the spoken off WR is all fit and fine to continue.

Unlike the other concussion cases seen in the 2022-23 season, Chris Olave wasn’t side-lined due to a hard hit by an opposition player. But during the Week 5 showdown vs the Seattle Seahawks – Chris Olave bashed him head on the turf hard, whilst following a TouchDown catch (although one might suggest he was sprung over).

Although there were indication that Chris Olave would be included in the showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5, after he took limited part in the practice session on Wednesday. However, with the risk of not being able to pass the protocol, Saints eventually ruled out Chris Olave.

I’ve seen it a couple of times,” Chris Olave said whilst discussing his health update as per ESPN. “It looked scary for sure. It was definitely a scary play. I had a lot of people reaching out to me in support. Glad I got back on my feet. I’m blessed at the end of the day. I’m ready, I’m ready to get back to it. We’ve got to get back to winning, that’s the No. 1 goal.”

Moreover, Chris Olave asserted that he is 100% ready all set to make his mark in Thursday Night showdown against the Arizona Cardinals, who pose the same win record as them after 6 games of the 2022-23 regular season. Will the returning rookie be able to take center stage? We will sure find out in a couple of days’ time.
