Doug Pederson might be one of the greatest coaches in NFL history yet his departure from Philly, after posing a record of 4-11-1 in the 2020 campaign, was truly heart-breaking. However, now as things have changes, Doug seems to be super excited to return to the Lincoln Financial Field for the first time as an opposing head coach.

Having led the Eagles to a Super Bowl in 2017, Doug Pederson spent five years as the Head Coach of the same team, wherein things went haywire at the end. Being fired is never a good sign for the coach, but Doug Pederson seems to only be excited in making him way back to the same place, with no hard feelings.

When asked about whether or not he has ill feelings in making a return to Philly, Doug Pederson quoted, as published by the Inquirer, “That was a long time ago. Two years ago. Listen, I’ve got to get my team prepared. I’m personally looking forward to coming back to Philly. Obviously got a lot of fond memories there, and what we did in 2017 is something we’ll always remembers, right?”

Can Doug Pederson lead his Jaguars to a thumping win over the Eagles?

Doug finishes his tenure with the Eagles with a 42-37-1 record. Wherein he secured three playoff berths, and four postseason wins. What really paved his way through greatness was his attacking style and offensive scheme, which surely took majority of the opposition by surprise more often than not.

That being, Doug Pederson’s first season with the Jacksonville Jaguars is somewhat reminiscent of his first two years with the Philadelphia Eagles. He has helped second-year Quarterback Trevor Lawrence become of the leading MVP candidates and has showcased his true caliber, making the offensive strategy burst around him.
