When Baker Mayfield joined the Los Angeles Rams after the Carolina Panthers waived him due to their own logjam. While many thought his stint would be as miserable as we have encountered in the 2022-23 regular season, Mayfield pulled the ultimate ‘uno reverse’ card on all of his critics at the expense of Las Vegas Raiders.

As the Rams have already been knocked out of the playoff contention, Mayfield didn’t want them to lose all respect and dignity. This is just why he came alive against the Raiders on Thursday Night on an eight play, 98-yard drive that ended with a 23-yard TouchDown pass to Van Jefferson. With the extra point, Los Angeles went up, with only 10 seconds remaining on the game clock.

While this scenario was unknown for all sports fans – Rams and its players hailing Baker Mayfield, who would’ve thought that honestly. But there was one visual, which Baker Mayfield could not help himself with, headbutting his teammates.

The former No. 1 overall pick was then seen headbutting cornerback Robert Rochell after the drive. Baker Mayfield did the same thing with the Panthers earlier this year.

But this time the NFL Fans would recall this incident and had plenty of reactions on it. Take a look at few of them down below-

Baker Mayfield would go 22-for-35 with 230 passing yards and the game-winning touchdown pass to Jefferson. Perhaps this could be the ideal change this QB was looking for, to bring about a change in his trajectory on the field. Can we see more of the same from the former #1 pick? Remains to be seen.
