The Minnesota Vikings are 9-2 heading into Week 13 and have one of the best offenses in the league spearheaded by Justin Jefferson. Kirk Cousins has been good as well for most of the season, and they have the second-best record in the NFC.

The Vikings have a great chance of making it to the Super Bowl this season, and a large part of it depends on Justin Jefferson. He has 81 catches for 1,232 yards and has scored 6 touchdowns in 11 games this season. Myles Simmons recently claimed that Jefferson deserves his name to be mentioned in the MVP race, similar to what Cooper Kupp had last season.

Talking about it, Myles Simmons said, “I’d have Justin Jefferson over Josh Allen right now because Josh Allen is tied for the league lead interceptions. He’s lost three fumbles, he’s creating too many turnover plays, but Justin Jefferson, and he makes so many catches that yeah, he makes the routine catches it makes a special catches.”

He added, “If the Vikings don’t have Justin Jefferson, they’re not nearly as good as they are. Right. And usually we say that about the QB. But I just really feel that strongly about Justin Jefferson, you know, he’s already set the mark for most receiving yards by a player in his first three years and got six games left to go. That’s That’s incredible. I think he deserves some MVP consideration.”

The Vikings are set to face the New York Jets in Week 13 and it will be fascinating to see how Justin Jefferson will play against star rookie cornerback Ahmad ‘Sauce’ Gardner.
