Ben Simmons and the Brooklyn Nets lost to Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks and Simmons didn’t play well.
The Brooklyn Nets lost their seventh game of the season after they lost to the Dallas Mavericks by 96-94. The Nets were still without Kyrie Irving, who is still serving a suspension given by the team.
Kevin Durant played well and contributed with 26 points, but Ben Simmons, who returned from a knee injury once again failed to make an impact. He ended up with just two points in 15 minutes, while Mavs star Luka Doncic continued to impress everyone.
Luka Doncic scored 36 points, and Ben Simmons, who is considered one of the best defensive players in the league failed to guard Doncic, and the NBA fans on social media trolled him heavily. The Nets are still without a new head coach after parting ways with Steve Nash while Ime Udoka is still holding out on a move to Brooklyn because of the situation surrounding the future of Kyrie Irving and even possibly Kevin Durant.
