Jalen Rose believes the Nets should not panic as they have two of the best players in Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving under contract.
The Brooklyn Nets were seen as the favorites to win the championship not so long ago. However, the situation changed completely in the offseason, as both of their best players are close to leaving the team.
Kevin Durant has already handed in a trade request, and if he leaves it is very likely that Irving will also leave the team. As a result, the Nets are under too much stress heading into the next season.
However, Jalen Rose believes that the Nets should not feel any pressure. He believes that both Kyrie and Kevin Durant are still under the contract and can stay if they want to.
Jalen Rose said, “So the point I’m trying to make is this is uniquely special this is uniquely special to have two of the top 10 or even 12 players in the league… “
He added, “If only a couple of teams can do that only a couple of teams can do That why panic? They’re in the contract and you ready for this and they’re going to be as motivated as any players in the league like the one thing that got lost about kyrie missing games not being vaccinated is he still loves basketball and he’s really good at it.”
