Marcus Smart heaped praise on Justice Brooks after his first meet too, as he stated, “He’s always gonna be him. He’s a loving person. He’s smiling all the time and he really cares. He has every right to be down. But yet, he chooses to be up.”

Justin Brooks suffered from sickle cells disease

Brooks was only 11 months old when his family were made aware of his sickle cells disease. Justin’s mother, Raychelle emphasized on how her son has overcome plenty of obstacles since being diagnosed, yet the family has only come together to fight this battle.

According to Be The Match, a Black patient only has 29& chance of finding a matching donor while a white person has 79% chances interestingly.

Not only Justice Brooks finding his way to life but has to even make constant adjustments to live as carefree as possible. Tough life? Isn’t it, guess that is just why Boston Celtics marquee defender Marcus Smart hold such high regard for him.
