At Media Day LeBron James answered all kinds of questions and said that Ken Griffey Jr. was his favourite player to watch growing up

In a short quick-fire Question and Answer session during his Media Day, LeBron James answered several interesting questions. One of these questions was about his favorite player growing up and without thinking for long LeBron answered Ken Griffey Jr. This is an answer that might have surprised some as not many people would have thought LeBron James baseball fan.

James answered several other questions that were asked. LeBron said that his favourite food is Italian and his favourite season is winter. In addition to that he also said that his favourite shoes were his own LeBron’s. When asked which LeBron’s were his favourite, he answered “all of ’em”.

The NBA superstar was also asked about his tattoos and he said that his favourite tattoos are the ones of his kids. James has many tattoos of his children including their names and pictures of them.

Who is ken Griffey Jr.?

Ken Griffey Jr. is one of the most prolific and exciting players the MLB has ever seen. He is widely known for his 11 years with the Seattle Mariners. During his career Griffey Jr. was selected to 13 MLB All-Star games. He was awarded the Golden Glove award 10 times for his elite defensive play as a center fielder.

Griffey Jr. is known as one of the most prolific home-run hitters in baseball history and ranks 7th all-time in the MLB with his 630 home runs. Ken Griffey Jr. was elected into the Baseball Hall Of Fame in 2016 and holds the record for the highest votes with 99.32% of the votes. His number 24 jersey was retired by the Seattle Mariners in 2016, the same year he retired.
