Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tight End Rob Gronkowski has announced his retirement from the NFL. This is the second time that Gronk has retired from football, but this time it seems like we have seen his last on the football field.

He is a 4-time Super Bowl champion and won with two different teams. He and Tom Brady have been the best duo in football for the last decade. They were able to bring a championship for the Buccaneers and that was a great achievement for them.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers General Manager Jason Licht spoke after his team’s TE announced his retirement. He said, Rob is a true professional who left it all on the field for us the past two seasons and helped establish a championship culture in our building,”

Licht added, “It is always difficult to see a great player walk away from the game when he is still enjoying that kind of success, but the overwhelming emotions I feel today are gratitude and respect for one of the greatest tight ends who ever played the game.”
